Some say the characters weren't fleshed out enough and the film certainly could've focused more on that, although I'm not saying it should've. It stars Josh Brolin and Miles Teller in the main roles and a supporting cast including Jennifer Connelly, Jeff Bridges and a small role for Andie MacDowell. It is based on a true story about a group of 20 wildland firefighters and not only shows us them doing their job, but also gives us an insight into the personal life of some of the characters. I watched the film and wasn't sure if I should post here about it, but since it bombed at the BO ($38m budget, $21m BO) I thought it can't hurt to give it some more exposure.
